只是問一下 (12)：雅各怎能如此？

那一刻，雅各給改名為以色列。

他獨自一人。
家人都離去了。
財產都交由僕人帶走。

只剩他一人，與天使摔跤。
沒有任何幫助。

然後，天使摸了雅各的大腿窩一下。立時之間，就在那裡，雅各變得軟弱了。

就在這關鍵一刻，雅各要求說：「你不給我祝福，我就不讓你走。」（創三十二26《和修》）

我只是問一下。
為何他可以這樣要求？
一個瘸腿的雅各哪來力氣阻止天使離開？

這個要求的力量從何而來？

Just asking (12): How could Jacob?

Jacob was renamed Israel that moment.

He was alone.
Family all left.
Wealth all left him.

Wrestled with an angel, all by himself.
No other help.

Then the angel touched Jacob’s hip. Right there and then Jacob became weak.

It was at this point that Jacob demanded: “I will not let you go unless you bless me.”(Gen 32:26, NIV)

I’m just asking.
How could he issue the demand?
Where did a lame Jacob get the strength to keep the angel from leaving?

Where did the demand get its force?
